Harish Kandari vs Santhosh Issac

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/04/2038 from New Delhi, India:

The New Delhi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Harish Kandari (29 - 8) who hails from New Delhi, India and Santhosh Issac(1 - 1) from Kanpur, India.  

Round 1: 

Issac gets on the inside.  Issac retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Kandari accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Issac.  
Issac tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Issac steps inside.  Kandari tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Kandari gets on the inside.  Kandari quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Issac is on target with a left hook.  
Issac hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Issac steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Issac advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Kandari's ribs.  
Issac lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kandari feints a jab, fooling Issac into launching a left uppercut counter.  Kandari is waiting for the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kandari closes the distance.  Kandari is on target with a left hook to Issac's body.  Kandari throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Issac's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Kandari steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Issac is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a solid jab.  
Kandari is on target with an overhand left.  
Issac steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Kandari is looking to keep his distance.  Kandari drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Issac lands with a stinging jab.  Issac throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kandari quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Issac is on target with a left hook to Kandari's liver.  
Issac steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Issac lands a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Issac's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
