Boxing Daily Report from the Peru National Finals 2038,  taking place on 11/04/2038 from Huacho, Peru:

The Huacho venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cortez Casagrande (8 - 7) who hails from Lima, Peru and Desiderio Caudillo(18(2) - 11(2)) from Lima, Peru.  

Round 1: 

Caudillo closes the distance.  Caudillo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Caudillo lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Casagrande attempts to land a right uppercut, but Caudillo blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Caudillo digs in a left hook to Casagrande's body.  Caudillo ties up his opponent.  Caudillo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Casagrande throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Casagrande throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Casagrande steps to the outside.  Caudillo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Caudillo steps inside and manouvers Casagrande into a corner.  Caudillo lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Caudillo connects with a sharp right hook.  
Caudillo steps inside.  Casagrande attempts to land a left uppercut, but Caudillo blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.

Casagrande throws a left hook, but Caudillo ties up his opponent.  Casagrande leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Casagrande is looking to keep his distance.  Caudillo lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Caudillo is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Caudillo throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Caudillo holds on to his opponent.  Casagrande is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Caudillo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
The right shot from Caudillo could be enough to force the stoppage!  Caudillo lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, DROPPING CASAGRANDE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Caudillo lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, KNOCKING CASAGRANDE DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Casagrande has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Caudillo steps inside.  Casagrande tries to land a right hook, but Caudillo blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.

Caudillo cuts off the ring, trapping Casagrande in a corner.  Caudillo lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Caudillo lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Caudillo throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Caudillo is looking to close the distance and crashes a spiteful left hook to his opponents liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE CASAGRANDE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Caudillo lands a stinging cross.  
Caudillo advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but Casagrande blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook to Caudillo's body.  Casagrande now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Caudillo is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Casagrande is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a cross, but Caudillo sidesteps and counters with a hurtful right uppercut.  CASAGRANDE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Caudillo is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Caudillo crashes a DESTRUCTIVE left uppercut to his opponents body.  CASAGRANDE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE CASAGRANDE CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Caudillo!
