Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/04/2038 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jair Villanueva (37 - 3(1)) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Yong-jae Kuk(1 - 11) from Cheonan, South Korea.  

Round 1:

Villanueva lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Villanueva lands with a stiff jab.  
Villanueva hits home with a right uppercut.  
Kuk steps inside.  Kuk sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kuk attempts to land a left uppercut, but Villanueva sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Villanueva is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Kuk is on target with a left hook.  
Villanueva lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Villanueva crashes a spiteful left uppercut to Kuk's liver.  KUK WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Kuk almost instantly recovers.

Villanueva lands a left uppercut, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Villanueva tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a stiff jab.

Kuk closes the distance.  Kuk pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kuk throws a right uppercut, but Villanueva ties up his opponent.  Villanueva is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Villanueva to stop fouling.
