Brendan Leamon vs Boris Zitnik

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brendan Leamon (4 - 2) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Boris Zitnik(27 - 11) from Bratislava, Slovakia.  

Round 1: 

Zitnik drives a hard jab into his opponents face.

Leamon is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Zitnik steps inside.  Zitnik sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Leamon's body.  
Zitnik is on target with a solid jab.  Zitnik attempts to land a jab, but Leamon blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Zitnik closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Leamon holds on to his opponent.  Zitnik is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Zitnik about fouling.  
Zitnik is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a stinging cross.
