Juan Veras vs Fraser Tabocol

Boxing Daily Report from the Philippines National Finals 2038,  taking place on 17/04/2038 from Manila, Philippines:

The Manila venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Juan Veras (25(9) - 6) who hails from Taguig, Philippines and Fraser Tabocol(7 - 1) from Caloocan, Philippines.  

Round 1: 

Veras steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Tabocol pivots to the left of his opponent, but Veras lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Veras attempts to land a right hook, but Tabocol blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.

Veras advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Veras tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Veras lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Veras clinches his opponent.  Tabocol uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Veras behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tabocol about fouling.

Tabocol steps away from his opponent.  Veras lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Veras advances into close range.  Tabocol tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Tabocol is looking to keep his distance and tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Tabocol pivots to the right of his opponent.  Veras drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  Veras tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.

Veras advances into close range and attempts to land a left hook, but Tabocol blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Veras digs in a firm left hook to Tabocol's body.  
Veras is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Veras holds on to his opponent.  Tabocol is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Veras's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Veras walks Tabocol into the corner.  Veras digs in a solid right hook to Tabocol's body.  Veras ties up his opponent.  Veras uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Tabocol behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Veras about fouling.  
Veras digs in a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Tabocol throws a right hook, but Veras holds on to his opponent.  Veras tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Tabocol behind the head. Veras leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Tabocol's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Veras drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Tabocol drives a sharp left uppercut into Veras's body.  
Tabocol throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Veras time to recover.  
Veras lands a left uppercut.  
Veras lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS TABOCOL TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Tabocol recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
