Saad Guler vs Geoff Rukidi

Boxing Daily Report from the Uganda National Finals 2020,  taking place on 29/04/2020 from Gulu, Uganda:

The Gulu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Saad Guler (11 - 4) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Geoff Rukidi(9 - 5) from Gulu, Uganda.

Rukidi forces Guler to back into the ropes.  Rukidi digs in a left hook to Guler's body.  
Rukidi steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Guler lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rukidi lands a jab.  
Rukidi closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Rukidi lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Rukidi gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rukidi lands a left uppercut.  
Guler attempts to land a jab, but Rukidi sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Rukidi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Rukidi throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.
