Michi Makino vs Floyd Obiorah

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/04/2038 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Michi Makino (22 - 3) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Floyd Obiorah(3 - 5) from Umuahia, Nigeria.  

Round 1: 

Makino gets on the inside.  Makino pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Obiorah's liver.  
Makino steps inside.  Makino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Obiorah drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Makino forces Obiorah to back into a neutral corner.  Makino lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Makino gets on the inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Makino closes the distance.  Obiorah connects with a left hook.  
Makino is on target with a solid right hook to Obiorah's body.  Makino holds on to his opponent.  Makino tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Obiorah behind the head. 
Obiorah lands a jab.  
Makino lands a solid left hook.  Makino clinches his opponent.  Obiorah is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Makino is on target with a stinging left hook to Obiorah's liver.  
Obiorah sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Makino throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Obiorah tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Obiorah pivots from in front of his opponent, but Makino lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Makino drives a stinging cross into his opponents body.  
Makino lands with a sharp jab.  
Makino closes the distance.  Makino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Obiorah connects with a left hook.  
Makino cuts off the ring, trapping Obiorah in a corner.  Makino drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Makino drives a left uppercut into Obiorah's body.  
Makino manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Makino digs in a firm left uppercut to Obiorah's body.  
Makino lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Makino gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Makino steps inside.  Makino sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Obiorah tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Makino steps inside.  Obiorah lands a right hook.  
Makino gets on the inside.  Obiorah throws a left hook, but Makino clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Makino pushes his forearm into Obiorah's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Makino about fouling.  
Makino lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Makino walks Obiorah onto the ropes.  Makino lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Obiorah quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Obiorah attempts to land a jab, but Makino slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Makino gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Makino hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Obiorah's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Makino lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Obiorah pivots from in front of his opponent, but Makino digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Makino slams a big right hook into Obiorah's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE OBIORAH WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Obiorah almost instantly recovers. 
Obiorah sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Makino is looking to close the distance and digs in a sharp left hook to Obiorah's ribs.  Makino ties up his opponent.  Obiorah is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Obiorah uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Makino's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Obiorah about fouling.  
Makino lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.
