Boxing Daily Report from the Zimbabwe National Finals 2020,  taking place on 29/04/2020 from Harare, Zimbabwe:

The Harare venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Ngoma (11 - 5) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Vul Saomba(6 - 2) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  

Round 1: 

Ngoma switches the action to the outside.  Ngoma quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Ngoma steps away from his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Saomba is looking to close the distance and forces Ngoma to back into the corner.  Ngoma hits home with a right hook.  
Saomba pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Ngoma lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Ngoma is on target with a firm cross to his opponents body.

Saomba finds the target with a jab.

Ngoma sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Saomba tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Saomba tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a jab.  
Saomba throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Saomba lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Saomba gets on the inside.  Ngoma lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Saomba tries to land a right uppercut, but Ngoma parries the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Ngoma tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.
