Boxing Daily Report from the Uruguay National Finals 2038,  taking place on 26/04/2038 from Montevideo, Uruguay:

The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.

Mateo advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mateo throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Mateo holds on to his opponent.  Mateo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Carreras tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mateo connects with a firm cross.  
Carreras hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Mateo pivots from in front of his opponent, but Carreras hits home with a left uppercut.  
Mateo advances into close range and walks Carreras into the corner.  Mateo is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.
