Brad Mfula vs Deion Chipungu

Boxing Daily Report from the Zambia National Finals 2038,  taking place on 26/04/2038 from Kitwe, Zambia:

The Kitwe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brad Mfula (22 - 18(1)) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Deion Chipungu(9 - 11) from Ndola, Zambia.  

Round 1: 

Chipungu pivots from in front of his opponent, but Mfula digs in a left hook to Chipungu's body.

Chipungu steps inside and throws a right hook, but Mfula ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Chipungu pushes his forearm into Mfula's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Chipungu about fouling.  
Chipungu manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Mfula connects with a stinging left hook.  
Mfula lands a solid left uppercut.  
Mfula tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a solid overhand right.  Mfula throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Mfula steps to the outside.  Mfula feints a right hook, and then connects with a cross.  
Chipungu advances into close range and drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.
