Hugh Berwick vs Mashawn Kakana

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hugh Berwick (11(1) - 8) who hails from Bury, UK and Mashawn Kakana(1 - 0) from Kitwe, Zambia.

Berwick closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Berwick holds on to his opponent.  Kakana is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Berwick lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Berwick connects with a solid right hook.  
Kakana drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  Berwick ties up his opponent.  Kakana is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kakana.  
Berwick gets on the inside and manages to force Kakana into the corner.  Berwick lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Berwick gets on the inside and connects with a firm right uppercut.  
Berwick drives a solid left hook into Kakana's liver.

Berwick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Berwick goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Kakana's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Berwick lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Berwick holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Berwick pushes his forearm into Kakana's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Berwick.  
Berwick lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Berwick lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Berwick sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Berwick lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kakana throws a left hook, but Berwick clinches his opponent.  Berwick uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Kakana's kidney. 
Berwick digs in a left hook to Kakana's liver.  
Berwick gets on the inside and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Kakana pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kakana tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to Kakana's liver.  
Berwick walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Berwick is on target with a left hook.  
Berwick digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Berwick lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Berwick is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.
