Brendan Jere vs Chata Chinyama

Boxing Daily Report from the Zambia National Finals 2020,  taking place on 02/05/2020 from Kitwe, Zambia:

The Kitwe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brendan Jere (12 - 3) who hails from Ndola, Zambia and Chata Chinyama(16 - 1) from Lusaka, Zambia.  

Round 1: 

Chinyama gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Chinyama drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Jere lands a cross.  
Chinyama manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Chinyama pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Chinyama sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Jere lands a jab.  
Chinyama connects with a cross.  
Chinyama advances into close range and forces Jere to retreat onto the ropes.  Chinyama attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Jere time to recover.  
Chinyama sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into Jere's ribcage.  
Jere lands a jab.  
Chinyama advances into close range and walks Jere onto the ropes.  Chinyama pivots to the left of his opponent, but Jere is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Jere connects with an overhand left.  
Chinyama gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  Chinyama attempts to land a right hook, but Jere slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Chinyama lands a right hook.  
Chinyama gets on the inside.  Chinyama sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Chinyama advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Jere tries to step out of his opponents range.  Chinyama is on target with a jab.  
Jere steps to the outside.  Chinyama lands a jab.

Chinyama advances into close range.  Chinyama sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Chinyama steps inside.  Jere drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Jere is on target with a left hook to Chinyama's body.

Jere lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Chinyama steps away from his opponent.  Chinyama sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Jere lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Jere switches the action to the outside and lands a solid jab.  
Chinyama finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Jere circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Chinyama finds the target with a jab.

Chinyama throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Chinyama steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Jere tries to tag Chinyama on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!
