Mikio Ishii vs Garen Villechaize

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/05/2038 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mikio Ishii (40 - 7) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Garen Villechaize(1 - 5) from Maroua, Cameroon.  

Round 1: 

Ishii gets on the inside.  Villechaize attempts to land a right hook, but Ishii slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ishii sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Ishii steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Ishii closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Villechaize quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Ishii lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ishii gets on the inside.  Villechaize throws a right uppercut, but Ishii ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ishii lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ishii digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Ishii lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Ishii drives a left hook into Villechaize's ribs.  
Villechaize throws a right hook, but Ishii clinches his opponent.  Villechaize is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Ishii manouvers Villechaize into a corner.  Villechaize tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.
