Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/05/2038 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rob Craib (67(11) - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and John Baines(1 - 4) from Fort Lauderdale, USA.  

Round 1: 

Craib hits home with a cross.

Craib backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Baines tries to tag Craib on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Baines throws a left uppercut, but Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Craib to stop fouling.  
Craib hits home with a solid cross.  
Baines is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Baines connects with a cross.  
Baines connects with a right hook.  Baines tries to land a cross, but Craib dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Baines is on target with a right hook to Craib's body.  
Craib lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Craib is on target with a left hook to Baines's body.  
Craib is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Craib is looking to close the distance.  Baines tries to land a right hook, but Craib blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Craib lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Craib attempts to land a jab, but Baines sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Craib tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with an overhand right.

Craib steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Baines almost instantly recovers. 
Craib lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS BAINES TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Baines almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Craib digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  Craib ties up his opponent.  Craib leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Craib lands with a ramrod jab.  
Craib connects with a right hook.  
Craib lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Baines sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Craib is on target with a left hook to Baines's body.  
Craib lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS BAINES TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Baines is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Craib!
