Vince Monica vs Mel Heriot

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/05/2038 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vince Monica (50(13) - 14) who hails from Gainesville, USA and Mel Heriot(0 - 2) from Greeley, USA.  

Round 1: 

Monica drives a solid left uppercut into Heriot's liver.  
Monica gets on the inside and connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Monica hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Monica connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Monica pivots to the left of his opponent.  Monica lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Monica holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Heriot pushes his forearm into Monica's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Heriot to stop fouling.  
Heriot throws a left hook, but Monica ties up his opponent.  Monica is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Monica lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Monica pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Heriot throws a left hook, but Monica holds on to his opponent.  Monica is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Monica.  
Monica digs in a left uppercut to Heriot's body.  
Heriot lands a solid jab.  
Monica advances into close range.  Monica quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Monica is on target with a right hook to Heriot's ribs.  
Monica closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Monica is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Monica connects with a right uppercut.  
Heriot steps to the outside and is on target with a stinging jab.  
Monica gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Heriot in the corner.  Monica digs in a right hook to Heriot's ribcage.  
Monica connects with a right uppercut.  
Monica closes the distance.  Monica sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Heriot lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Heriot lands a jab.  
Monica is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm left hook to Heriot's body.  Monica attempts to land a left hook, but Heriot dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Heriot steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Monica closes the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook to Heriot's liver.

Heriot hits the target with a spiteful jab.  Heriot tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Monica steps inside and whips in a big left hook to Heriot's liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE HERIOT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Monica could be enough to finish Heriot!  Monica lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS HERIOT TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Monica!
