Vere Douillet vs Morgan Gittins

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/06/2038 from Paris, France:

The Paris venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vere Douillet (42 - 16) who hails from Paris, France and Morgan Gittins(2 - 14) from Rochester, USA.  

Round 1: 

Gittins gets on the inside.  Douillet drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.

Douillet manages to force Gittins into a neutral corner.  Douillet lands a right hook.

Douillet steps inside and throws a left hook, but is not on target.  Douillet holds on to his opponent.  Gittins leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Gittins quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gittins throws a right hook, but Douillet clinches his opponent.  Gittins leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Douillet lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Douillet lands a jab.  
Douillet strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Douillet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Douillet steps inside.  Gittins throws a left hook, but Douillet holds on to his opponent.  Douillet is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Gittins's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
