The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Jerden (20 - 8) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Jay Howell(2 - 16) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Jerden closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Jerden lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Jerden hits home with a solid cross.  
Howell pivots to the side of his opponent, but Jerden strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Jerden is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Jerden steps inside and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Jerden backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Howell is whaling away with hooks, but Jerden keeps his defence tight.

Howell is looking to keep his distance and hits home with an overhand left.

Howell connects with a left uppercut.
