Euan Rhees vs Morgan Gittins

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 11/06/2038 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Euan Rhees (16 - 3) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Morgan Gittins(2 - 20) from Rochester, USA.  

Round 1: 

Rhees steps away from his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Gittins tries to land a jab, but Rhees blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Rhees hits home with a cross.  Rhees attempts to land a jab, but Gittins sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Rhees steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Rhees lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rhees is on target with a jab.  
Gittins steps inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Gittins cuts off the ring, trapping Rhees in the red corner.  Rhees drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Rhees steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Rhees finds the target with a solid jab.  
Gittins is on target with a firm left uppercut.

Gittins forces Rhees to back into the red corner.  Rhees lands with a stinging jab.  
Rhees lands a right hook.  
Gittins manages to force Rhees onto the ropes.  Gittins attempts to land a left uppercut, but Rhees slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Gittins is looking to close the distance.  Rhees lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gittins throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rhees tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Rhees snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Rhees is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Gittins lands a jab.

Gittins steps inside and manouvers Rhees onto the ropes.  Gittins throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Gittins throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Rhees is on target with a cross.
