Joe Leishman vs Chris McNeilly

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/06/2038 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joe Leishman (60 - 10) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and Chris McNeilly(2 - 15) from Lowell, USA.  

Round 1: 

Leishman feints a left hook, and then lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Leishman lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
McNeilly hits home with a left hook.  
Leishman steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Leishman feints a right hook, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McNeilly steps inside.  McNeilly sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Leishman connects with a left uppercut.  Leishman clinches his opponent.  McNeilly leans on his opponent using all his weight. Leishman uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits McNeilly behind the head. The ref breaks Leishman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Leishman switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
McNeilly gets on the inside.  Leishman throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Leishman ties up his opponent.  Leishman is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. McNeilly pushes his forearm into Leishman's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Leishman feints a jab and triggers a cross counter from McNeilly.  Leishman springs the trap and counters with  a solid right hook.  
McNeilly gets on the inside and walks Leishman onto the ropes.  Leishman digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Leishman holds on to his opponent.  Leishman leans on his opponent using all his weight. McNeilly tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Leishman behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns McNeilly.  Leishman throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McNeilly connects with a left hook.  
Leishman lands a jab.  
Leishman steps away from his opponent and throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Leishman lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Leishman steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
McNeilly gets on the inside and manouvers Leishman onto the ropes.  McNeilly sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Leishman lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Leishman tries to step out of his opponents range.  Leishman feints a jab, tricking McNeilly into launching a right uppercut counter.  Leishman avoids the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to McNeilly's ribs.  
Leishman lands a cross followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Leishman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Leishman feints a right, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Leishman's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. McNeilly's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
