Angel Alarcon vs Taavi Asunmaa

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/06/2038 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Angel Alarcon (53 - 5) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Taavi Asunmaa(0 - 3(1)) from Espoo, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Alarcon steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Alarcon lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Alarcon hits home with a spiteful jab.

Alarcon lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  Alarcon holds on to his opponent.  Alarcon uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Asunmaa's kidney. 
Asunmaa throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Alarcon to the neutral corner.  He lectures Asunmaa but does not take away a point.  
Asunmaa pivots to the right of his opponent.  Asunmaa hits home with a left hook.  Asunmaa tries to land a cross, but Alarcon parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Alarcon lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Alarcon is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Alarcon lands a right hook.  
Asunmaa is on target with a cross.  
Alarcon closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Alarcon lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Alarcon is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Alarcon holds on to his opponent.  Alarcon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Alarcon closes the distance and manages to force Asunmaa into the red corner.  Alarcon is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  Alarcon clinches his opponent.  Alarcon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  Alarcon tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Alarcon is on target with a right hook to Asunmaa's ribs.  
Asunmaa is on target with a left uppercut.  
Alarcon gets on the inside.  Asunmaa throws a left hook, but Alarcon clinches his opponent.  Alarcon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Asunmaa tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Alarcon's kidney. The referee warns Asunmaa and breaks the clinch.
