Andy Williams vs Matt Carey

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/06/2038 from Montreal, Canada:

The Montreal venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Andy Williams (21 - 8) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Matt Carey(1 - 6) from Regina, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Carey closes the distance and tries to land a left uppercut, but Williams sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Carey sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Carey steps inside and drives a left hook into Williams's liver.  
Carey drives a left hook into Williams's body.  
Carey throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Williams time to recover.  
Carey steps inside.  Carey sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Williams digs in a sharp right hook to Carey's ribcage.  
Williams lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.

Carey steps inside.  Williams hits home with a right hook.  
Williams is on target with a firm cross.  
Carey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Williams is on target with a stinging cross.  
Williams steps inside.  Carey lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Williams quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Carey is on target with a right hook.  
Williams is looking to close the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.

Williams quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Carey throws a left hook, but Williams holds on to his opponent.  Carey uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Williams's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Williams lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Williams lands a right hook.  
Carey lands a right hook.  
Williams gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook.  Williams holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Williams pushes his forearm into Carey's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Williams closes the distance.  Carey throws a left hook, but Williams ties up his opponent.  Carey leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Williams drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.

Williams advances into close range.  Carey lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Carey throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook to his opponents body.
