Rafael Celeste vs Khalid Rookas

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/06/2038 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rafael Celeste (49 - 6) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Khalid Rookas(0 - 6) from Sharjah, UAE.  

Round 1: 

Rookas is on target with an overhand right.

Celeste is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Celeste feints a cross, fooling Rookas into throwing a cross counter.  Celeste is waiting for the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Celeste tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a hard jab.  
Celeste steps to the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Celeste lands with a stinging jab.  
Celeste lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Rookas gets on the inside and forces Celeste to back into the ropes.  Rookas hits home with a left hook.  Rookas tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Rookas walks Celeste onto the ropes.  Rookas lands a left uppercut.  
Rookas throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Celeste ties up his opponent.  Celeste hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch.
