Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/06/2038 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rodrigo Barragan (13 - 4) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Khalid Rookas(0 - 7) from Sharjah, UAE.  

Round 1: 

Barragan tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Rookas manouvers Barragan onto the ropes.  Barragan attempts to land a cross, but Rookas sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Barragan lands a cross.  
Barragan hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Barragan steps away from his opponent and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Rookas cuts off the ring, trapping Barragan in a neutral corner.  Rookas is on target with a left uppercut.  Rookas throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Barragan drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Rookas steps inside.  Rookas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Rookas walks Barragan down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rookas lands a left hook.

Barragan feints a cross, and then throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Barragan lands a ramrod jab.  
Barragan steps away from his opponent and lands a stinging jab.  
Barragan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Barragan lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Rookas feints a jab, and then lands a right uppercut.  
Barragan lands with a stinging jab.  
Barragan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Rookas slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rookas connects with a stinging left hook.  
Barragan tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Barragan throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Barragan lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rookas forces Barragan to retreat onto the ropes.  Rookas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Barragan feints a cross, and then lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Barragan steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Barragan tries to land a jab, but Rookas blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.
