Michi Makino vs Yuji Horie

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/06/2038 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Michi Makino (24 - 4) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Yuji Horie(0 - 2) from Sakai, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Makino walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Makino sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Horie's body.  
Makino is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Makino hits home with a left hook.  
Makino is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Horie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Makino hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Makino is on target with a left hook to Horie's body.  
Makino lands a cross.  
Makino connects with a stinging left hook.  
Makino advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Makino holds on to his opponent.  Horie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Horie throws a left hook, but Makino ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Makino pushes his forearm into Horie's face.  The ref breaks Makino's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Horie lands with a stiff jab.  
Makino steps inside.  Horie tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Makino is on target with a cross.  
Makino gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Horie's body.

Makino steps inside and connects with a solid left hook.  
Makino lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Makino is on target with a firm left hook to Horie's body.  
Makino gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Makino lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Makino lands a firm left hook.  Makino holds on to his opponent.  Makino pushes his forearm into Horie's face.  The referee warns Makino and breaks the clinch.  
Makino is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Horie lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Horie throws a right hook, but Makino holds on to his opponent.  Makino leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
