Vere Douillet vs Yuichi Kuramoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/06/2038 from Paris, France:

The Paris venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vere Douillet (43 - 16) who hails from Paris, France and Yuichi Kuramoto(1 - 10(1)) from Sendai, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Douillet advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Douillet is on target with a right hook.  Douillet clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Kuramoto pushes his forearm into Douillet's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kuramoto about fouling.  Douillet attempts to land a left hook, but Kuramoto dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Douillet steps inside.  Douillet sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Douillet throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Douillet holds on to his opponent.  Douillet is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Kuramoto steps to the outside.  Douillet attempts to land a jab, but Kuramoto sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Douillet is looking to close the distance and walks Kuramoto down, trapping him in the corner.  Douillet lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Douillet sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kuramoto throws a left hook, but Douillet clinches his opponent.  Douillet uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Kuramoto behind the head. 
Douillet connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Douillet lands a left uppercut.  
Kuramoto pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to Douillet's body.  
Douillet closes the distance.  Douillet throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Kuramoto's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Douillet steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Douillet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.

Douillet closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Kuramoto sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Douillet connects with a sharp left hook.  
Douillet advances into close range and lands a stinging right hook.  
Douillet lands a jab.  
Kuramoto manages to force Douillet onto the ropes.  Douillet tries to land a left hook, but Kuramoto slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Douillet lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Douillet connects with a cross.  
Douillet closes the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Douillet closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Kuramoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Douillet attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Kuramoto time to recover.  
Douillet gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Douillet closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kuramoto's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Douillet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Douillet is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.

Kuramoto throws a right hook, but Douillet clinches his opponent.  Kuramoto is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
