Paul Troup vs Xin Siew

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/07/2038 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Paul Troup (14(1) - 4) who hails from New York City, USA and Xin Siew(7 - 8) from Changchun, China.  

Round 1: 

Troup steps inside.  Siew attempts to land a right hook, but Troup sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Troup steps to the outside.  Siew snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Siew is looking to close the distance.  Troup lands a firm right hook.  
Troup lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Siew steps inside and manages to force Troup into the red corner.  Troup lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.

Troup feints a jab, tricking Siew into countering with a cross.  Troup springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Troup advances into close range.  Siew tries to land a left uppercut, but Troup blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Siew gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Troup tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Siew gets on the inside.  Troup digs in a right uppercut to Siew's ribs.  
Siew gets on the inside and connects with a solid right hook.  Troup holds on to his opponent.  Siew uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Troup behind the head. 
Troup is looking to keep his distance.  Troup drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Siew lands with a stiff jab.  Siew tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Troup lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

Troup voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Siew is whaling away with hooks, but Troup keeps his defence tight.  Siew finds the target with a jab.  
Siew steps inside.  Troup drives a right hook into Siew's body.  
Siew tries to keep the action at long range and lands a solid overhand right.  Siew tries to land an overhand right, but Troup slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Siew switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Troup sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Siew's body.

Troup lands a jab to his opponents body.

Siew advances into close range.  Troup lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
