Rodrigo Barragan vs Stuart Kerry

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 19/07/2038 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rodrigo Barragan (14 - 4) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Stuart Kerry(2 - 7) from Sheffield, UK.  

Round 1: 

Kerry lands a right uppercut.  
Kerry finds the target with a jab.  
Kerry switches the action to the outside.  Kerry is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Barragan tries to land a jab, but Kerry sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Barragan closes the distance and drives a solid left hook into Kerry's body.  
Barragan feints a jab, fooling Kerry into launching a right hook counter.  Barragan springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut.  
Barragan is looking to close the distance and forces Kerry to back into the ropes.  Barragan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook to Kerry's liver.  
Barragan closes the distance and walks his opponent into a corner.  Barragan digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Barragan is on target with a left hook.  
Barragan lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Barragan hits home with a cross.  
Barragan steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Barragan advances into close range.  Barragan pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Kerry's liver.

Barragan closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Barragan tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a sharp cross.  
Barragan steps inside and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Kerry sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Barragan lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Barragan is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Barragan switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Kerry lands a stinging jab.  
Barragan steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
