Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/07/2038 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Jerden (21 - 9) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Nathan Pert(2 - 24) from Santa Clarita, USA.  

Round 1: 

Jerden steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Pert steps inside and forces Jerden to back into the ropes.  Jerden drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Jerden hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Jerden lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Jerden is on target with a jab.  
Jerden steps away from his opponent and hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Pert steps inside.  Jerden lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pert walks Jerden down, trapping him in the corner.  Jerden lands a sharp jab.  Jerden throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Pert time to recover.

Pert lands a left hook.  Pert attempts to land a left hook, but Jerden sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Jerden steps to the outside.  Pert tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Pert lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents body.  
Jerden steps away from his opponent.  Jerden lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Pert tries to land a jab, but Jerden slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Pert's body.  
Jerden lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Pert steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  Pert tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Jerden is on target with a jab.  
Jerden steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Pert digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Jerden steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jerden's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

Jerden lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Jerden is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits the target with a stiff jab.

Jerden lands with a solid jab.  
Pert throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Jerden is on target with a left hook.  
Pert cuts off the ring, trapping Jerden on the ropes.  Pert throws a right hook, but Jerden ties up his opponent.  Jerden is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Jerden to stop fouling.
