Paul Brash vs Mark Rhees

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/07/2038 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Paul Brash (49(2) - 11) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Mark Rhees(1 - 1) from Indianapolis, USA.  

Round 1: 

Brash closes the distance.  Rhees throws a right hook, but Brash ties up his opponent.  Brash is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Brash closes the distance and lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Brash lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Brash tries to land a left hook, but Rhees sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Rhees gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Brash holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Brash pushes his forearm into Rhees's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rhees is on target with a cross.  
Rhees walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Brash lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Rhees steps inside.  Brash is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Rhees's body.  
Brash steps inside.  Rhees throws a right hook, but Brash ties up his opponent.  Rhees pushes his forearm into Brash's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Rhees.  
Rhees is on target with a left uppercut to Brash's body.  
Brash connects with a firm cross.  
Brash closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Rhees throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Brash clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Brash pushes his forearm into Rhees's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Brash.  
Rhees throws a right hook, but Brash ties up his opponent.  Rhees leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rhees forces Brash to retreat onto the ropes.  Brash lands a cross.  
Brash is on target with a right hook.  
Brash lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Brash manages to force Rhees onto the ropes.  Brash quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Brash lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  Brash clinches his opponent.  Rhees leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Brash pushes his forearm into Rhees's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Brash about fouling.  
Brash gets on the inside.  Rhees hits home with a left hook.  
Rhees quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Brash finds the target with a jab.  
Brash cuts off the ring, trapping Rhees in the corner.  Brash lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  Brash holds on to his opponent.  Rhees uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Brash behind the head. Rhees is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Brash is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  Brash clinches his opponent.  Rhees leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rhees throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Rhees is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Brash's body.  
Rhees pivots to the right of his opponent, but Brash lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Brash lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Brash manouvers Rhees onto the ropes.  Brash lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Rhees is on target with a solid cross.  
Rhees advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Brash ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Brash stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Brash lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, DROPPING RHEES TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Brash!
