Corey Brodie vs Alun Kerrigan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/07/2038 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Corey Brodie (15 - 15) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Alun Kerrigan(1 - 2) from Oklahoma City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Kerrigan sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Brodie lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Kerrigan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Brodie drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Brodie is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Kerrigan tries to land a right hook, but Brodie slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Brodie manages to force Kerrigan onto the ropes.  Brodie digs in a left hook to Kerrigan's body.  
Brodie lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Brodie gets on the inside and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Brodie digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Kerrigan lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kerrigan gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Brodie's ribs.  
Kerrigan lands a left uppercut.  Kerrigan throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Brodie digs in a sharp right uppercut to Kerrigan's body.  
Kerrigan throws a right hook, but Brodie holds on to his opponent.  Brodie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Brodie about fouling.  
Brodie lands a jab.  
Kerrigan pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Brodie is on target with a right hook to Kerrigan's ribcage.

Kerrigan throws a left uppercut, but Brodie holds on to his opponent.  Brodie uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Kerrigan behind the head. 
Brodie lands a jab.  
Kerrigan steps inside.  Brodie digs in a left hook to Kerrigan's body.  Brodie ties up his opponent.  Brodie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Brodie connects with a cross.  
Kerrigan closes the distance.  Brodie hits home with a left hook.  
Kerrigan hits home with a right uppercut.  
Brodie steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kerrigan lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Brodie ties up his opponent.  Brodie leans on his opponent using all his weight. Kerrigan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Brodie's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kerrigan's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
