Robert Lewison vs Callum Brogan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/07/2038 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Robert Lewison (60(1) - 6) who hails from New York City, USA and Callum Brogan(1 - 9) from Warren, USA.  

Round 1: 

Lewison pivots from in front of his opponent.  Lewison digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Lewison ties up his opponent.  Lewison is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lewison about fouling.  
Lewison finds the target with a ramrod jab.

Lewison advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Lewison holds on to his opponent.  Lewison uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Brogan behind the head. Lewison leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Lewison's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lewison is looking to close the distance.  Brogan connects with a solid left uppercut.  Lewison ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Brogan pushes his forearm into Lewison's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Brogan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Lewison lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Lewison connects with a cross.  Lewison attempts to land a jab, but Brogan sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Brogan pivots to the side of his opponent, but Lewison connects with a right uppercut.  
Lewison lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Brogan throws a left hook, but Lewison holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Brogan pushes his forearm into Lewison's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Brogan to stop fouling.  
Lewison lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lewison lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

Brogan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Brogan throws a left uppercut, but Lewison holds on to his opponent.  Brogan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Lewison's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Brogan attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Lewison time to recover.
