Nathan Neil vs Ibrahim Gerges

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/08/2038 from Chicago, USA:

The Chicago venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Nathan Neil (59 - 4) who hails from Chicago, USA and Ibrahim Gerges(4 - 8(1)) from Sana'a, Yemen.  

Round 1: 

Neil gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  
Neil manouvers Gerges onto the ropes.  Neil quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Gerges steps to the outside and lands a stinging overhand right.  Gerges tries to land a jab, but Neil parries the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Neil is looking to close the distance.  Gerges tries to land a left hook, but Neil slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Neil connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Neil lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Gerges tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a firm cross.  Gerges attempts to land a cross, but Neil slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.
