Rodrigo Barragan vs Confucius Jeng

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/08/2038 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rodrigo Barragan (15 - 4) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Confucius Jeng(1 - 5) from Hong Kong, China.  

Round 1: 

Jeng lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Jeng is on target with a left hook.  
Jeng advances into close range.  Jeng pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Jeng sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Barragan lands with a stinging jab.  
Barragan is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Barragan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a sharp overhand right.  
Barragan is looking to keep his distance.  Barragan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Barragan throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Jeng time to recover.

Barragan feints a left hook, and then lands a spiteful jab.
