Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/08/2038 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:

The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Xalvador Abril (27 - 10) who hails from Sao Goncalo, Brazil and Jaguar Casa(1 - 12) from Curitiba, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Casa tries to step out of his opponents range.  Abril lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Casa pivots to the side of his opponent, but Abril lands a jab.

Casa tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a cross.  
Casa feints a right hook, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Abril steps inside.  Abril pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging right hook.  
Abril sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Casa drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Abril throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Abril clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Abril pushes his forearm into Casa's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Abril to stop fouling.  
Casa switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Casa tries to land a cross, but Abril sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Abril forces Casa to back into the corner.  Casa lands a firm right uppercut.  
Abril lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Abril ties up his opponent.  Abril leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Abril gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Abril lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Abril pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a firm left uppercut.

Abril advances into close range and drives a right hook into Casa's ribcage.  Abril holds on to his opponent.  Abril leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Casa pushes his forearm into Abril's face.  The ref breaks Abril's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
