Greg Abram vs Dom Tongogara

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/11/2038 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Greg Abram (28(7) - 9) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Dom Tongogara(3 - 0) from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.  

Round 1: 

Abram steps inside.  Tongogara throws a left hook, but Abram holds on to his opponent.  Abram leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Abram pushes his forearm into Tongogara's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Abram digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Tongogara drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Abram steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Abram is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Abram ties up his opponent.  Tongogara uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Abram behind the head. Abram hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Abram is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Abram to stop fouling.  Abram throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Tongogara lands a left uppercut.  
Abram digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Abram digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Abram walks Tongogara onto the ropes.  Abram hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Abram connects with a solid right hook.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Abram is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abram lands a sharp left hook.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Tongogara pushes his forearm into Abram's face.  The referee warns Tongogara and breaks the clinch.  
Tongogara lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Abram is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Abram closes the distance.  Abram pivots to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Abram lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Abram manouvers Tongogara onto the ropes.  Abram is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Tongogara is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Abram quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.

Round 2: 

Abram advances into close range and crashes a big left hook to his opponents body.  TONGOGARA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Abram senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Abram lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS TONGOGARA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  It looks like Tongogara has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Tongogara attempts to land a right uppercut, but Abram dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tongogara digs in a firm right hook to Abram's body.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Tongogara leans on his opponent using all his weight. Abram tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Tongogara's kidney. The referee warns Abram and breaks the clinch.  
Abram drives a right hook into Tongogara's ribs.  
Abram hits home with a right uppercut.  
Abram lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Abram connects with a sharp left hook.

Abram forces Tongogara to retreat onto the ropes.  Abram throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Abram leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Abram's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Tongogara throws a left hook, but Abram clinches his opponent.  Abram is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abram pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  
Abram forces Tongogara to back into the ropes.  Abram pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Tongogara almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Abram lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Tongogara recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Abram gets on the inside.  Abram quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abram is on target with a left uppercut.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Abram leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Abram's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Abram tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Abram gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body, KNOCKING TONGOGARA DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Abram!
