Oscar Leiper vs Jacob Erven

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/11/2038 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Oscar Leiper (38 - 4) who hails from El Paso, USA and Jacob Erven(2 - 3) from Albuquerque, USA.  

Round 1: 

Leiper pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Leiper throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Leiper throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Erven quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Leiper lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Erven lands a left uppercut.  
Leiper throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Leiper advances into close range.  Erven throws a left hook, but Leiper ties up his opponent.  Leiper uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Erven behind the head. Leiper leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Leiper gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Erven's body.  
Erven steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Leiper lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Erven throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Leiper's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Leiper connects with a right hook.

Leiper gets on the inside.  Leiper pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Leiper is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Leiper pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Leiper lands a sharp right hook.  
Leiper lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Leiper advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Leiper walks Erven onto the ropes.  Leiper attempts to land a left hook, but Erven slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Erven quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Leiper lands with a hard jab.  Leiper tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
