Dai Whitten vs Jack Penney

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/11/2038 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dai Whitten (59(2) - 9) who hails from New York City, USA and Jack Penney(4 - 0) from Honolulu, USA.  

Round 1: 

Whitten closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Whitten crashes a hurtful right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE PENNEY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Penney almost instantly recovers. 
Penney tries to land a jab, but Whitten slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Penney steps away from his opponent.  Penney sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a stiff jab.  
Whitten steps inside and forces Penney to retreat onto the ropes.  Whitten drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Whitten is on target with a stinging cross.  
Whitten lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Penney hits home with a solid right hook.  
Penney steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Whitten advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Whitten holds on to his opponent.  Whitten is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Whitten pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Whitten gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Penney on the ropes.  Penney hits home with a right hook.  
Whitten lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Penney steps away from his opponent and lands a jab.  
Whitten advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Whitten lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Whitten clinches his opponent.  Whitten pushes his forearm into Penney's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Whitten.  
Penney is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Penney attempts to land a jab, but Whitten blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Penney's body.  
Whitten closes the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Penney quickly recovers. 
Whitten steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  Whitten ties up his opponent.  Whitten leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Whitten lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a jab to the head.

Whitten manouvers Penney onto the ropes.  Whitten lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Whitten holds on to his opponent.  Whitten is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Whitten feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Penney switches the action to the outside.  Penney is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Whitten lands a cross.  
Penney sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Whitten is on target with a jab.  
Whitten lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Whitten closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Penney now seems to have his senses back.  
Whitten sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Whitten advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Penney is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Whitten steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Penney on the ropes.  Whitten lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Penney steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Whitten dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Whitten gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.

Whitten walks Penney down, trapping him on the ropes.  Whitten senses Penney is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Whitten connects with a spiteful cross.  DOWN GOES PENNEY!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Whitten!
