Dimos Cobos vs Udail Alazafi

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/11/2038 from Montevideo, Uruguay:

The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dimos Cobos (2 - 2) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Udail Alazafi(1 - 6) from Casablanca, Morocco.  

Round 1: 

Alazafi closes the distance.  Alazafi pivots to the right of his opponent, but Cobos hits home with a left uppercut.  
Cobos steps to the outside and hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Cobos stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Alazafi drives a right uppercut into Cobos's body.  
Alazafi finds the target with a jab.  
Alazafi closes the distance.  Cobos lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Alazafi steps inside.  Cobos lands a right hook.  
Cobos switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  
Cobos lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Alazafi closes the distance.  Alazafi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Alazafi throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Cobos lands a left hook.  
Cobos tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Alazafi manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Cobos is on target with a left hook.  
Alazafi pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.

Cobos is looking to keep his distance.  Cobos sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cobos attempts to land a jab, but Alazafi sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Alazafi steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Alazafi lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Alazafi closes the distance and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.

Alazafi gets on the inside.  Alazafi pivots to the side of his opponent, but Cobos lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cobos tries to keep the action at long range.  Alazafi throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Alazafi's liver.  
Cobos lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Alazafi walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Alazafi feints a cross, and then hits home with a right hook.  
Cobos lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.
