Greg Abram vs John Leishman

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/12/2038 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Greg Abram (29(8) - 9) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and John Leishman(8 - 7) from Newark, USA.  

Round 1: 

Abram hits home with a firm cross.  
Abram steps inside.  Abram pivots from in front of his opponent.  Leishman tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Abram manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Abram lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Leishman advances into close range.  Abram lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Leishman hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Leishman walks Abram onto the ropes.  Abram is on target with a jab.  
Abram hits home with a right uppercut.  
Abram is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Abram throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Abram tries to land a left hook, but Leishman blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Abram lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Abram lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Abram closes the distance.  Leishman connects with a firm left hook.  
Abram pivots to the side of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Abram cuts off the ring, trapping Leishman on the ropes.  Leishman lands with a stinging jab.  
Abram closes the distance.  Abram pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Leishman's liver.  
Leishman sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Abram is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Abram digs in a sharp right hook to Leishman's body.  
Leishman connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Abram hits home with a left hook.  Abram clinches his opponent.  Abram leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Abram pivots to the left of his opponent.  Leishman lands a solid left hook.  Abram ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Leishman pushes his forearm into Abram's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Abram lands a left uppercut.  
Leishman lands a left hook.  
Abram tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Leishman digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Abram sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Leishman's body.  
Abram manages to force Leishman into a corner.  Abram lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Leishman lands a right uppercut.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Abram pushes his forearm into Leishman's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abram is on target with a solid left hook to Leishman's body.  
Abram is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Leishman's body.  
Leishman lands a stinging right hook.  
Abram lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Leishman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Abram lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Abram cuts off the ring, trapping Leishman on the ropes.  Abram lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Abram lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Abram is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Abram lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND DROPS LEISHMAN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Abram!
