Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/12/2038 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Robert Wigen (33 - 5) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Ellis Bobet(2 - 2) from Pittsburgh, USA.  

Round 1: 

Bobet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Wigen lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Bobet gets on the inside.  Wigen lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bobet manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Bobet sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Bobet steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Bobet throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Bobet steps inside.  Wigen digs in a right hook to Bobet's body.  
Bobet manouvers Wigen onto the ropes.  Wigen lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Wigen finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Bobet gets on the inside.  Wigen is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Wigen lands a spiteful jab.  
Bobet hits home with a cross.  
Bobet is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Wigen slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Wigen lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  Wigen throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Wigen is looking to keep the action on the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Wigen switches the action to the outside and throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Bobet closes the distance.  Wigen lands a solid right uppercut.  Wigen holds on to his opponent.  Wigen pushes his forearm into Bobet's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wigen to stop fouling.
