Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/01/2039 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Maurice (32 - 6) who hails from Huntington Beach, USA and Robert Bardsley(0 - 1) from Portland, USA.  

Round 1: 

Maurice lands a cross followed by  two overhand lefts to his opponents head.

Bardsley tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Bardsley advances into close range and manouvers Maurice onto the ropes.  Maurice lands a left hook.  
Maurice feints a cross, and then is on target with a jab.

Bardsley is looking to close the distance and manages to force Maurice onto the ropes.  Bardsley is on target with a left hook to Maurice's liver.  
Bardsley gets on the inside.  Bardsley pivots from in front of his opponent, but Maurice is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bardsley connects with a left uppercut.  
Bardsley throws a right hook, but Maurice clinches his opponent.  Maurice is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maurice steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Maurice switches the action to the outside.  Maurice quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to the body followed by two overhand left's to the head.

Maurice feints a right hook, and then lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Bardsley manages to force Maurice onto the ropes.  Bardsley quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Maurice finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Bardsley gets on the inside.  Maurice throws a left hook, but is off-target.  Maurice clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Maurice pushes his forearm into Bardsley's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bardsley advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Bardsley closes the distance.  Maurice throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Bardsley's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Maurice feints a jab, and then lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Bardsley's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Maurice sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Maurice hits home with a sharp jab.  
Maurice is on target with an overhand left.  
Maurice is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a sharp cross.

Bardsley sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Maurice tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
