Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/01/2039 from Mexico City, Mexico:

The Mexico City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gonzalo Soza (17 - 10) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Nasario Hermida(0 - 1(1)) from Matamoros, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Hermida quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Soza is on target with a stinging jab.  
Soza tries to land a jab, but Hermida sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Soza lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Soza finds the target with a jab.  
Hermida sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Soza tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Soza feints a right hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Soza switches the action to the outside and lands a stinging jab.  
Soza tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Soza drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Soza is looking to keep his distance.  Soza sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Soza attempts to land a cross, but Hermida sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Hermida sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Soza lands with a stiff jab.

Soza sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hermida attempts to land a jab, but Soza dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Hermida hits home with a cross.  
Soza feints a cross, fooling Hermida into launching a left hook counter.  Soza springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut to Hermida's liver.  
Hermida drives a firm cross into Soza's body.  
Hermida lands a solid jab.  
Soza hits home with a solid cross.  
Soza finds the target with a jab.  
Hermida throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Soza's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Hermida's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Soza steps to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Soza lands an overhand left.  
Soza switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Soza lands with a solid jab.  
Soza is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Soza hits home with a cross.  
Hermida walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Hermida pivots to the left of his opponent, but Soza lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.
