Billy Moad vs Leeroy Mattie

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/01/2039 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Billy Moad (14 - 10) who hails from New York City, USA and Leeroy Mattie(0 - 2) from Columbia, USA.  

Round 1: 

Moad walks Mattie down, trapping him on the ropes.  Moad is on target with a right hook.  
Moad connects with a right hook.  
Mattie is on target with a left hook to Moad's ribs.  
Moad lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Moad lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Moad gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Moad drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Mattie lands a right hook.  
Moad walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Mattie connects with a left hook.  
Mattie sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Moad hits home with a right uppercut.  
Moad closes the distance.  Moad pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  Moad throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Mattie's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Mattie lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Moad holds on to his opponent.  Mattie pushes his forearm into Moad's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Moad hits home with a solid left hook.  
Moad lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Moad is on target with a right uppercut to Mattie's body.  
Mattie throws a left uppercut, but Moad ties up his opponent.  Moad is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Moad's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Moad walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Mattie throws a right uppercut, but Moad holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Moad pushes his forearm into Mattie's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Moad.  
Moad lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Moad clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mattie pushes his forearm into Moad's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
