Chris Baldy vs Michael Caden

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/01/2039 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Baldy (38(1) - 5) who hails from Houston, USA and Michael Caden(2 - 1) from Baltimore, USA.  

Round 1: 

Baldy tries to land a jab, but Caden sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Baldy manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Caden attempts to land a left uppercut, but Baldy blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Baldy hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Baldy steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Baldy ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Baldy pushes his forearm into Caden's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Baldy.  
Baldy lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Baldy is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Baldy lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Baldy is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Caden tries to land a jab, but Baldy slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Baldy attempts to land a cross, but Caden sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Baldy advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Baldy manouvers Caden onto the ropes.  Baldy pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Baldy digs in a solid right uppercut to Caden's ribcage.  
Baldy lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Caden tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Baldy advances into close range.  Caden throws a left hook, but Baldy clinches his opponent.  Baldy is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Baldy lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Baldy throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Caden time to recover.  
Caden throws a right hook, but Baldy ties up his opponent.  Caden tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Baldy behind the head. 
Caden is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Baldy advances into close range.  Baldy sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Baldy quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Caden throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Baldy pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Baldy digs in a left uppercut to Caden's body.  
Baldy lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Caden throws a right hook, but Baldy ties up his opponent.  Baldy tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Caden behind the head. Baldy leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Caden's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Baldy hits home with a solid left hook.  
Caden attempts to land a jab, but Baldy sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Baldy manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Baldy connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Caden throws a left hook, but Baldy holds on to his opponent.  Baldy leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Baldy lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Baldy clinches his opponent.  Baldy is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Caden throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Baldy is on target with a sharp right hook.  Baldy clinches his opponent.  Baldy leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Baldy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Baldy advances into close range and slams a mean left hook into Caden's body.  CADEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Caden recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
