Chainey Olin vs Neil Balmer

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/01/2039 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chainey Olin (50 - 13) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Neil Balmer(0 - 12) from Vancouver, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Balmer advances into close range and tries to land a right hook, but Olin sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Balmer closes the distance and lands a firm left hook.  Balmer throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to Balmer's body.

Balmer gets on the inside and walks Olin down, trapping him on the ropes.  Balmer lands a left hook.  
Olin is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a firm cross.

Balmer steps inside and throws a right hook, but Olin holds on to his opponent.  Olin pushes his forearm into Balmer's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Balmer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Olin connects with a right hook.  
Balmer steps inside and manages to force Olin into a corner.  Olin drives a sharp left uppercut into Balmer's ribs.  
Balmer throws a left hook, but Olin holds on to his opponent.  Balmer is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Olin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Olin's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Olin lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Balmer walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Olin finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Balmer advances into close range and drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents body.  Olin ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Olin pushes his forearm into Balmer's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Olin.  
Olin connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Olin steps away from his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.

Olin is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Balmer throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Balmer's ribs.  
Balmer advances into close range and forces Olin to retreat onto the ropes.  Olin lands a left hook.  
Olin throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Olin clinches his opponent.  Balmer is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
