Brett Ruane vs Alp Altintop

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/01/2039 from Sheffield, UK:

The Sheffield venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brett Ruane (8 - 3) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Alp Altintop(2 - 1) from Bursa, Turkey.  

Round 1: 

Ruane finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Altintop attempts to land a jab, but Ruane slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Altintop throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Ruane drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Altintop is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Ruane lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Altintop tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Altintop lands a left hook.

Altintop is looking to close the distance.  Ruane drives a sharp left hook into Altintop's body.  
Ruane hits home with an overhand right.  
Ruane switches the action to the outside.  Ruane sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Altintop closes the distance and manouvers Ruane into the red corner.  Ruane lands a right hook.  
Altintop pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Ruane is on target with a left uppercut.  
Ruane lands a cross.  
Altintop connects with a left hook.  
Ruane switches the action to the outside and lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Altintop's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Altintop tries to land a right hook, but Ruane parries the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Ruane is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a stiff jab.
