Bradley Heltzel vs Xavier Ruis

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/01/2039 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bradley Heltzel (11(1) - 3) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Xavier Ruis(5 - 17) from Salvador, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Ruis lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Heltzel gets on the inside.  Heltzel pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Ruis advances into close range.  Heltzel is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Heltzel hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Ruis throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Heltzel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Ruis pushes his forearm into Heltzel's face.  The referee warns Ruis and breaks the clinch. Ruis pivots from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.
