Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/01/2039 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Euan Rhees (23 - 4) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Leeroy Mattie(0 - 3) from Columbia, USA.  

Round 1: 

Rhees switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.

Rhees finds the target with a jab.  
Mattie is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mattie gets on the inside.  Rhees throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Mattie's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Rhees tries to land a left uppercut, but Mattie parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rhees attempts to land a cross, but Mattie sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Rhees lands a sharp jab.  
Rhees tries to step out of his opponents range.  Rhees feints a right, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mattie gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Rhees's ribs.  
Mattie walks Rhees down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rhees hits home with a left hook.  
Mattie closes the distance.  Rhees connects with a left hook.  
Mattie attempts to land a jab, but Rhees sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Rhees switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rhees's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win. Mattie's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
