Saturnin Orduno vs Jami Saraste

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/01/2039 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Saturnin Orduno (26 - 6) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Jami Saraste(4 - 12(1)) from Espoo, Finland.  

Round 1:

Orduno is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Orduno feints a left hook, and then lands a ramrod jab.  Orduno tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Orduno's body.  
Saraste hits home with a stinging jab.  Saraste throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Saraste gets on the inside and forces Orduno to back into the ropes.  Saraste digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Orduno finds the target with a jab.  
Orduno lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Saraste walks Orduno down, trapping him on the ropes.  Saraste pivots to the left of his opponent, but Orduno is on target with a jab.
