Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/02/2039 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gaston Rigaudeau (48 - 25) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Bulut Gollu(2 - 9) from Istanbul, Turkey.  

Round 1: 

Rigaudeau strikes his opponents body with a stinging cross.

Gollu steps inside.  Rigaudeau lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gollu cuts off the ring, trapping Rigaudeau on the ropes.  Rigaudeau lands a jab.  
Gollu gets on the inside and forces Rigaudeau to retreat onto the ropes.  Gollu tries to land a right hook, but Rigaudeau sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rigaudeau lands a cross.  
Rigaudeau steps to the outside and lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Rigaudeau is on target with a jab.  
Rigaudeau tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the body, a jab to the body and a jab to the head.  
Gollu is on target with a solid cross.  
Rigaudeau sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gollu throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Gollu steps inside.  Rigaudeau lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Rigaudeau switches the action to the outside.  Rigaudeau feints a cross, and then attempts to land a jab, but Gollu blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Rigaudeau tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rigaudeau's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
